1. EPFO ने 2020-21 के लिये ब्याज दर 8.5 प्रतिशत पर बरकरार रखी।

ईपीएफओ पिछले साल की तरह इस बार भी 8.50 प्रतिशत ब्याज देगा। गौरतलब है कि 04 मार्च 2021 को ईपीएफ केंद्रीय बोर्ड के ट्रस्टियों की बैठक श्रीनगर में आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक में 2020-21 के लिये ब्याज दर की घोषणा करने के प्रस्ताव पर फैसला लिया गया।

इससे पहले पिछले साल मार्च में ईपीएफओ ने ब्याज दर घटाते हुए 8.5 प्रतिशत कर दी थी। यह सात साल की सबसे कम ब्याज दर है। बोर्ड ने पहले कहा था कि वह 31 मार्च को समाप्त हुए वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए अपने ग्राहकों के लिए दो किश्तों में 8.5 प्रतिशत ब्याज का भुगतान करेगा।

2. World Hearing Day 2021: जानिए इसका इतिहास और महत्व।

आधुनिक युग में लोग अपने वजन पर काबू नहीं रख पाते और मोटापा से ग्रसित लोगों में बहरेपन का खतरा अधिक होता है। विश्व श्रवण दिवस पहली बार साल 2007 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय कान देखभाल दिवस द्वारा विश्वभर में मनाया गया था।

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विशेष विषय से संबंधित घटनाओं की कई किस्में बनाई गई हैं। साल 2011 की जनगणना के मुताबिक भारत में पचास लाख से ज्यादा आबादी बहरेपन की समस्या से पीड़ित है। विश्व की लगभग पांच प्रतिशत आबादी सुनने से लाचार है।

3. किरोन पोलार्ड ने रचा इतिहास, एक ओवर में 6 छक्के लगाने का किया कारनामा।

पोलार्ड ने भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व ऑलराउंडर युवराज सिंह के रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी कर ली। युवराज ने साल 2007 के टी-20 विश्व कप में ये कारनामा किया था। युवराज ने अब पोलार्ड की पारी पर रिएक्ट किया है।

पोलार्ड अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में एक ओवर में छह छक्के लगाने वाले तीसरे बल्लेबाज हैं। दक्षिण अफ्रीका के हर्शल गिब्स ने साल 2007 के वनडे वर्ल्ड कप में एक ओवर में 36 रन बनाकर सबसे पहले यह उपलब्धि हासिल की थी।

4. भारत में बनी COVAXIN को लेकर बहुत बड़ी खबर, देसी टीका 81 प्रतिशत प्रभावी।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने हाल ही में इस वैक्सीन का पहला डोज लगवाया था। कोवैक्सीन बनाने वाली कंपनी भारत बायोटेक के अनुसार, देश के 25,800 लोगों पर ये ट्रायल किए गए थे। इससे पहले भारत बॉयोटेक के टीके के परीक्षण के अंतिम परिणाम आने से पहले ही इसके आपात इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी को लेकर विवाद पैदा हो गया था।

गौरतलब है कि कोवैक्सीन एक स्वदेशी कोरोना वैक्सीन है। इस समय देश में दो कंपनियों की वैक्सीन लोगों के लिए उपलब्ध है। इसमें भारत बायोटेक की 'कोवैक्सीन' और ऑक्सफोर्ड-एस्ट्राजेनेका की 'कोविशील्ड' शामिल है। ऑक्सफोर्ड-एस्ट्राजेनेका के वैक्सीन का उत्पादन सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया कर रहा है।

5. अर्जेंटीना में 140 मिलियन साल पहले के डायनासोर के जीवाश्म की हुई खोज।

यह जीवाश्म अर्जेंटीना के पैटागोनियन जंगल से संबंधित हैं, जो डायनासोर समूह के सबसे पुराने-ज्ञात सदस्य हैं जिन्हें टिटानोसौर कहा जाता है, जिसमें पृथ्वी के इतिहास में सबसे बड़े भूमि पर निवास करने वाले जानवर शामिल हैं।

शोधकर्ताओं ने यह कहा है कि, जीवाश्म निंजाटिटन नामक एक डायनासोर प्रजाति का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं जो 140 मिलियन साल पहले पहले क्रेटेशियस अवधि के दौरान हमारी पृथ्वी पर रहते थे।

राज्यसभा सचिवालय ने 01 मार्च 2021 को आधिकारिक रूप से इसकी घोषणा की। मालूम हो कि पिछले साल जून माह में ही विलय कर दिया गया था। दोनों टीवी चैनलों के विलय के साथ शीर्ष स्तर पर अधिकारियों में भी बदलाव किया गया है।

संसद टीवी का मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी 1986 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी सेवानिवृत्त रवि कपूर को नियुक्त किया गया है। गौरतलब है कि भारत में लोकसभा की कार्यवाही को लोकसभा टीवी पर दिखाया जाता है।

7. हरियाणा में स्थानीय युवाओं के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी, प्राइवेट सेक्टर की नौकरियों में मिलेगा 75 फीसदी आरक्षण।

हरियाणा के राज्यपाल सत्यदेव नारायण आर्य ने विधेयक को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह जानकारी उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला (Dushyant Chautala) ने दी। राज्य के उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि प्रदेश के युवाओं के लिए आज खुशी का दिन है। प्राइवेट नौकरियों में अब प्रदेश के युवाओं को 75 प्रतिशत नौकरियों का अधिकार मिलेगा।

इस विधेयक के दायरे में राज्य में निजी कंपनियां, सोसाइटी, ट्रस्ट, साझेदारी फर्म आते हैं। विधेयक योग्य लोगों के उपलब्ध नहीं होने की स्थिति में योग्य स्थानीय उम्मीदवारों के प्रशिक्षण का प्रावधान करता है। इस कोटे के तहत नौकरी प्राप्त करने के लिए किसी व्यक्ति का जन्म स्थान हरियाणा होना चाहिए या वह कम से कम 15 साल राज्य में रहा हो।

8. खेल मंत्रालय ने 10 साल बाद जिम्नास्टिक महासंघ को मान्यता दी।

खेल मंत्रालय ने साल 2011 में महासंघ में लड़ाई के कारण इसकी मान्यता रद कर दी थी। फिलहाल खेल मंत्रालय राष्ट्रीय खेल महासंघों को एक साल के आधार पर मान्यता दे रहा है। खेल मंत्रालय ने 31 दिसंबर 2021 तक तत्काल प्रभाव से जिमनास्टिक फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया को राष्ट्रीय खेल महासंघ के रूप में मान्यता दे दी है।

मंत्रालय के अनुसार, शांति कुमार को पांच नवंबर 2019 को हुए चुनाव में महासचिव बनाया गया था, लेकिन मंत्रालय ने खेल कोड 2011 के कार्यकाल के प्रावधानों के उल्लंघन के कारण उनके चुनाव पर आपत्ति जताई थी। खेल मंत्रालय ने कहा कि शांति कुमार पहले कोषाध्यक्ष और महासचिव रह चुके हैं।

हाल ही में हरियाणा सरकार ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय से अपील की है कि उसे कोविड-19 महामारी से कमज़ोर हो चुकी अपनी अर्थव्यवस्था को पुनः सुदृढ़ करने के लिये अरावली हिल्स में उत्खनन करने की अनुमति दी जाए. इस रेंज का विस्तार गुजरात के हिम्मतनगर से शुरू होकर हरियाणा, राजस्थान, और दिल्ली (लगभग 720 किमी.) तक है. अरावली रेंज लाखों साल पुरानी है, जिसका निर्माण भारतीय उपमहाद्वीपीय प्लेट के यूरेशियन प्लेट की मुख्य भूमि से टकराने के कारण हुआ है.

6.b. नई दिल्ली 

हाल ही में केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से नई दिल्ली में 'ग्लोबल बायो-इंडिया-2021' के दूसरे संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया. यह राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर और वैश्विक समुदाय के लिये भारत के जैव प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्र की क्षमता और इस क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध अवसरों को दर्शाता है. इसका लक्ष्य भारत को विश्व में एक उभरते हुए नवोन्मेष केंद्र और जैव विनिर्माण केंद्र के रूप में मान्यता प्रदान करना है.

7.c. कर्नाटक 

हाल ही में कर्नाटक ने देश की पहली ‘इंजीनियरिंग रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट’ (ER & D) पॉलिसी लॉन्च की है. इस नीति के तहत बेंगलुरु नगरीय जिले के अलावा ‘मल्टी-नेशनल कॉर्पोरेशन’ (MNC) संस्थाओं को 2 करोड़ रुपए तक के किराए की 50% प्रतिपूर्ति की पेशकश की जाएगी. नवाचार को बढ़ावा देने हेतु सरकार विभिन्न परियोजनाओं हेतु कॉलेजों को धन मुहैया कराएगी और कॉलेजों एवं विश्वविद्यालयों में उद्योग-उन्मुख पाठ्यक्रम विकसित करने की लागत भी वहन करेगी.

8.b. फिजी 

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने हाल ही में कृषि क्षेत्र में सहयोग हेतु भारत और फिजी के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन को मंजूरी दे दी है. यह समझौता ज्ञापन अपने हस्ताक्षर की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा और 5 साल की अवधि के लिए लागू रहेगा. समझौता अनुसंधान कर्मियों, वैज्ञानिक विशेषज्ञों, विशेषज्ञों और तकनीकी प्रशिक्षुओं के आदान-प्रदान की सुविधा भी प्रदान करता है.
